Saint-Briac / Côte d'Emeraude / Bretagne / France
This is my first ever critique so I apologize firsthand if I leave anything out. I like the use of black and white because it adds a sense of history and meaning that many color photos lack despite being vibrant. A low tide like this would seem to be a rare occurrence hence it adds more intrigue to the picture. The fact that so many boats at one time are grounded make it seem like a grave site and the black and white almost give it a macabre and ghostly feel. Yet it also seems very tranquil and peaceful. The only thing I would dislike about this picture is that I hate it when jetliners cause streaks through the sky like that, especially when you are trying to get a nice pristine shot of the clouds.
